This personal information will include your first and last name, user name chosen by you, email address and date of birth. This is collected to determine authenticity and to ensure our users are of legal age. However, your personal information will always be protected and never shared, rented or sold to any other NPRAlliance.org user, member or the following type of product/service provider: senior care facility, caregiver, advertiser or any third party except under the following circumstances:

  1. You explicitly give permission by selecting to “opt-in” when requesting senior care information or during the registration process. Some examples of “opting-in” are as follows:
    • Subscribing to the NPRAlliance.org Website
    • Requesting information about a product/service advertiser on our site
    • Requesting to be contacted by us, affiliate or third party including, but not limited to, phone or email.
  2. When it is required by law through a court issued subpoena, court order or warrant.
  3. When it is necessary to address a situation that may involve a violation in NPRAlliance.org’s Terms of Service including any such harassment, security threat, fraudulent activities.

The information NPRAlliance.org collects is for demographic purposes:

    1. Zip Code
    2. Year of birth (not the actual month and date)
    3. Gender
    4. Preferences
    5. Interests
    6. IP Address

**For senior care facilities, the following information will also be collected which includes contact name, street address, phone and fax number.

 

Why is this information collected?

 

The purpose is to better serve our users and members with relevant information that meets their needs and interest. We also want to make using the NPRAlliance.org Website as easy and effortless as possible.

 

How is this information collected?
