The Eagle Fund
The National Placement and Referral Alliance is committed to advancing and protecting our profession through effective advocacy. To support this work, NPRA has established the Eagle Fund, a voluntary contribution opportunity open to both members and nonmembers.
What is the Eagle Fund?
The Eagle Fund is dedicated exclusively to state-level advocacy efforts on behalf of placement and referral agencies. Contributions are pooled and used to address policy, regulatory, and legislative issues as they arise across the country.
How Eagle Fund dollars are used
Advocacy needs are not the same in every state or every year. Eagle Fund resources are allocated where the need is greatest at any given time, allowing NPRA to respond strategically and effectively. For example, one state may require significant advocacy support during a particular legislative session, while another may require little or none the following year.
The NPRA Board of Directors provides initial oversight and guidance to ensure Eagle Fund contributions are deployed responsibly and in alignment with the association’s advocacy priorities.
What the Eagle Fund is not
The Eagle Fund is not a political action committee (PAC) and does not make contributions to candidates or legislators. Eagle Fund dollars are used primarily to retain professional lobbyists and advocacy experts who represent NPRA’s interests, monitor legislation, educate policymakers, and advocate for sound public policy affecting our profession.
Eagle Fund participation levels
NPRA offers several ways to support advocacy through the Eagle Fund:

Annual Eagle Fund Participant – $195
Provides one year of support for NPRA’s state-level advocacy efforts.

Life Eagle Fund Participant – $1,950
A one-time contribution reflecting a long-term commitment to advancing and protecting our profession.

Double Life Eagle Fund Participant – $3,900
An enhanced, one-time contribution demonstrating exceptional support for NPRA’s advocacy work.
